Restoring Hope for Youth and Families

As a licensed alcohol and drug counselor, I understand what it takes to get your life back from addiction. As a Christian counselor, I am compelled to professionally come alongside those who are brokenhearted and held captive by the disease of addiction, and skillfully work side by side with them to restore hope. I begin with assessing individual needs, and then I work together with clients to identify the barriers to recovery, and apply customized intervention strategies to catalyze each individual’s desired change.

In addition to holding a masters degree in addiction counseling, I also have a doctorate in education and am founder of a private classical Christian school where my goal is to create an environment where each student knows they are seen, loved, cared for and protected. In a society where 35% of patients at a level 3.5 residential treatment center for substance use are between ages 13 and 17, my goal is to create an environment where our students will never have to use drugs or alcohol as a coping mechanism. In addition to our preventative strategies, we come alongside those who are dealing with addiction, and the family members who are impacted by this.
