Some insurance companies may cover all or a portion of my fee using your out-of-network benefits. You may also be able to use your HSA, flexible spending dollars, or medical savings account to be reimbursed for my fees. If you would like to use your insurance, please contact your insurance company and ask what coverage you have to see an “out-of-network provider.” They will tell you what your coverage is; if possible, ask them to fax you or email you a copy of your coverage so that you can use this when you submit any documents to them in the future. Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:
-
Do I have substance use or chemical dependency insurance benefits?
-
What is my deductible and has it been met?
-
What services does my health insurance cover? How much does it cover?
-
Is approval required from my primary care physician?
We can begin your care, you will pay for the sessions as we go, and you will be given an itemized bill that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. I cannot make any assurances that your insurance company will accept the charges or provide reimbursement.
